Structure of the Centre

The CCIC is overseen by an Executive Group, with support from a Scientific Advisory Committee and an Exploitation Board.

Executive Group

The Executive Group of the CCIC oversees all aspects of the Centre such as resources, quality assurance and progress against milestones. Its members include Professor Richard Begent, Professor Tony Ng, Professor David Hawkes, Professor Phil Blower, Professor Peter Ell, Dr Mike O’Doherty, Professor Chris Boshoff, Professor Arnie Purushotham, Professor Brian Hutton.

Scientific Advisory Committee

The Scientific Advisory Committee is chaired by Professor Peter Parker (Head of the Division of Cancer Studies at King’s College London) and populated by external advisors with expertise in clinical and research imaging sciences. Our current advisors are Professor Helmut Maecke and Professor Christoph Bremer.

Exploitation Board

The Exploitation Board is chaired in rotation by Professor David Hawkes, Dr Mike O’Doherty and Professor Steve Caddick (UCL Department of Chemistry). Its remit is to review the ongoing research for potential exploitation opportunities and to liaise with the technology transfer groups at both King’s College London, UCL and Cancer Research Technology.
